12.04.2012 | 12th of April – Cosmonautics Day

Nearly every Russian space module that has reached outer space or just is going to can not do  without hardware components or computer system and equipment which have been made in Zelenograd, at Mikron, Angstrem, Komponent facilities, NPO ELAK, Submikron research institute, NPP OPTEKS, NPC SPURT etc. Onboard control and data processing systems for Soyuz TMA and Progress-M space modules are being developed here. Zelenograd participates in apparatus manufacturing for GLONASS navigation satellite system.

26.03.2012 | The 5th jubilee ‘Autolady 2012’ drivers’s skills competition

At the Tsentralnaya square of Zelenograd the 5th jubilee ‘Autolady 2012’ drivers’s skills competition took place. It is nearly a professional event for female drivers.

The participants compete in 4 classes, ‘Newcomer drivers’ (no experience), ‘Trainees’ (up to 3 years of experience), ‘Autopilots’ (3–10 years) and ‘Experienced drivers’ (over 10 years).

20.02.2012 | The opening of production line with 90nm technology at JSC Mikron

JSC Rosnano and JSC Sitronics announce the opening of process unit working with 90 nm technology at the plant of JSC Mikron. The launch of the new line leads to the increase of production capacity of the plant up to 36 000 wafers with the diameter 200 mm (8 inch) per year. Total project’s budget is 16,5 bln RUB, including 6,5 bln RUB of the Rosnano co-funding.

13.02.2012 | Meeting devoted to the Russian Science Day took part in “Zelenograd” recreation centre

This year a new tradition was established. From now on every year prior to the 8th of February or a bit later Zelenograd scientific community will meet in “Zelenograd” recreation centre to celebrate their professional holiday. Zelenograd prefect A. Smirnov reported about the tradition beginning to the scientific research enterprises representatives. He also congratulates the scientists on the Russian Science Day, remembered the holiday’s story and Zelenograd’s role in Russia’s science life and its progress as well as wished the scientists new significant results and inspiration.

13.01.2012 | JSC Mikron has begun supplies of ski passes for the biggest facilities of the Olympic games 2014

JSC Mikron, the leading microelectronics manufacturer and exporter of Russia and CIS has begun supplies of contactless ski passes with chip for the biggest facilities of the forthcoming Olympic games 2014 – mountain skiing resort “Roza Khutor”. 

In line with contract the agreed volume of first supply is 50 thousand ski passes, 15 thousand of them have already been supplied. In 2012 skiing resort “Roza Khutor” plans to rise up the volume and diversify the stock-list of supplies.

16.12.2011 | Plastic Logic company representatives visited Zelenograd

Zelenograd prefect A. Smirnov met representatives of German company Plastic Logic, a SEZ Zelenograd resident which specializes in “soft” displays manufacturing. Plastic Logic company representatives presented the design of the facility building as well as samples of future products, such as “soft” displays, E-textbooks, business pads, and discussed the problems the residents of SEZ are facing. In his turn, Zelenograd Prefect promised to do his best for Plastic logic facility construction project at SEZ Zelenograd territory to be embodied.

12.12.2011 | The 12th winter BIM-marathon in Zelenograd took place

12th Zelenograd winter marathon which was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Soviet army counteroffensive near Moscow took place. 217 runners from 32 constituent entities of the Russian Federation as well as Ukraine, Estonia, Bulgaria, USA and France took part in it. Women’s winner was Michelle Mitchell (Chicago, USA), the silver medal had E. Simukina (Bryansk), and the bronze went to I. Koval (Kashira). Men’s triumphator was V. Loginov (Ivanovo), the second to finish was I. Zernov (Tver region), and the third one was V. Nasrenov (Bryansk).

JSC Mikron, the leading microelectronics manufacturer and exporter in Russia and CIS participated in the section “silicon microelectronics is the basis for innovations” at the International Nanotechnology forum Rusnanotech 2011. In the frameworks of the section the representatives of Russian and foreign microelectronic companies as well as representatives from the states discussed the development of semiconductors in Russia, marked the reasons that restrain its growth and suggested measures of elimination.

“RITM Zelenograd” Fair was held in Zelenograd within the framework of the Scientific Festival. It is the fair of sci-tech and innovation ideas and projects of youths where Zelenograd students o secondary schools and other educational institutions as well as young specialists and teams present their inventions. The projects of young researchers were sort of merchandize articles to be estimated by the “merchants”, those being experts, representatives from Zelenograd higher education institutions, research institutes, electronic companies.

The 3rd young scientists and specialists conference coincided with the 6th Sicence Festival in Moscow was held in Zelenograd prefecture. The conference was opened with the welcoming remarks of Zelenograd prefect A.Smirnov and was chaired by deputy prefect A.Novozhilov.

VEDOGON-THEATRE is the only one professional drama theatre in Zelenorgad, which is one of administrative districts of Moscow. The founder and the art director if the theatre is  Pavel Kurochkin. Initially the theatre was set up as a Theatrical Arts Studio organized by the M.Schepkin Higher Drama School graduates Pavel Kurochkin and Helena Shkurpelo in 1985.The Studio was the first step towards the main aim – forming a professional theatre. The idea was supported by Anatoly Smirnov, the Chairman of the ‘Technopolis’ Innovation Bank. He helped the theatre to achieve professional level by persuading other businessmen to provide financial support. The premiere of P.Romanov play “About good places, light dreams and cursed life’ directed by P.Kurochkin in autumn 1992 was the opening theatre season for VEDOGON-THEATRE. The theatre got it’s name from an ancient Russian word “Vedogon’ which means creative spirit of a human being. It symbolizes life-asserting forces of fire and the sun. Ancient people believed that spirits live inside every single human body, they direct people lives. The main target of the theatre is to awake, bring up and maintain creative basis of a personality. Since that time many outstanding people cooperate with the company. They are M.Velikhova (a Director, Professor of the M.Schepkin Higher Drama School), K.Volkov (a Composer, Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation, State Award Winner), artists E.Ceglov, E. and O.Gurinovich.

In 1994 the special purpose educational course for “Vedogon” was started thanks to the financial support of the ‘Technopolis’ Innovation Bank and Anatoly Smirnov, the prefect of Zelenograd Alexey Ischuk, vice-prefect Tatyana Zabelina and Professor N.Afonin (Head of the M.Schepkin Higher Drama School, Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation).

The M.Schepkin Higher Drama School graduates of several subsequent years formed the basis of the theatre.

The 23rd of March 1999 was the date when the professional theatre was established by an official Act of the Moscow Government.

In 1999 VEDOGON-THEATRE took part in the Fourth International Theatrical Festival in Turkey (Bursa) with the play “Kind Pakhom”. In 2001 there was a successful tour around the capital of Uzbekistan (Tashkent). In 2002 the theatre took part in the Third Moscow Theatrical Festival “ Rainbow” in Saint-Petersburg with the performance ‘Squaring the Circle’ by V.Kataev. In 2003 it participated in the International Festival of theatre, music and dance ‘HUMO’ with the performance ‘Angelo’ by A.Pushkin. In 2004 took part in the Eleventh Theatrical Festival after A.Pushkin (with ‘Angelo’). In 2005 the performance ‘In the Boots’ toured Danmark as a part of the International Theatrical Festival «Caravan» dedicated to the 200th jubilee of H.C.Anderson . In 2006 the performance ‘In the Boots’ won three diplomas of the Moscow Festival “Slav wreath for children”, the performance “Profitable Position” by A.Ostrovsky received a special diploma for successful interpretation of classics at the Fourth All-Russian Theatrical Festival for teenages named “On the Threshold of Youth” in the city of Ryasan.

The performance “Tsar Fedor Ioannovich” (tragedy by A.Tolstoy, directed by the Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation A.Kuzmin) won the first prize at the Ninth International Theatrical Festival   ‘Voices of History’ in Vologda in July 2007. The performance is praised for the author’s deepest comprehension and mastering the historical-architectural space by means of psychological theatre. Honored prizes were received by our actors: Honored Actor of the Russian Federation P.Kurochkin for the part of Tsar Fedor, Honored Actor of the Russian Federation V.Stuzhev ( State Young Children theatre in the city of Yaroslav) for the part of Lup-Kleshnin and P.Vasilev for the part of Boris Godunov
