The 13th Moscow International Military Song Festival СVivat PobedaТ (Vivat Victory)
On the 30th of April and the 1st of May in Zelenograd culture centre the 13th Moscow International Military Song Festival ‘Vivat Pobeda’ (Vivat Victory) took place. Traditionally it is devoted to the victory in the Great Patriotic War, but this year it was also coincided with the 200th anniversary of victory in the Patriotic War of 1812.
This year more than 100 participants from Moscow, Moscow region and other Russian regions as well as Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kirghizia and Ukraine took part in the festival.
The co-founders of the event are Zelenograd prefect, Department of Culture of Moscow, Department of Family and Youth Policy of Moscow, Committee of Public Relations of Moscow,
Blagovest Centre of People’s Aid. The festival is also supported by Bureau of Educational Work of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Secretariat of the Council of the Defense Ministers of the CIS countries.
The competitive programme was held on the 30th of April, and on the 1st of May the award ceremony and the gala concert took place.
