Mikron joined EU and Russia project group
Niime I Mikron OJSC, the largest developer, supplier and exporter of microelectronics in Russia and CIS countries, joined the Organizational Council of EU-RU.NET international programme. EU-RU.NET (Europe – Russia. Nanoelectronic Technologies) is the co-project of EU and Russia in creating development strategy as well as international cooperation prognostication and stimulation of nanoelectronic technologies.
Representatives of leading European and Russian expert and scientific centres also joined the programme.
“Microelectronics development requires colossal resource to be involved, first of all the scientific and engineering ones, that’s why international cooperation becomes a key success factor. Mikron’s joining international alliances is a part of the company’s strategic development plan”, reported General Director of Niime I Mikron OJSC, the head of Sitronics Mikroelectronica Gennady Krasnikov.
